Chinese New Year 2012

Time passes really fast, now is already year 2012!! Chinese New Year is coming soon! It's on 23rd January. Sadly, this semester school holiday only covers 2 days of 23rd and 24th of January. Such a short holiday really makes a lot of us studying in Singapore feeling very down! It should be one week holidays like my friends studying in Malaysia!! However, I try to manage my timetable again and decide to skip some of the lectures and having my own set of one week holidays!

Happy Chinese New Year! Hope everyone will have a great new year time with family and friends! I am sure I'll definitely have a great new year holidays!

My last semester

I almost forgot that I've a blog here. If my sister was not asking me for my baby photo, I won't think of searching my baby photo over here.

Just to write some updates about my status now so that this could save as my memories. Then, next time when I view my own blog posts again, I could recall back the sweet memories here.

Firstly, my beloved elder sister, April just got married with Huangyi after dating for 5 years time on 30th October 2011.

I was very happy with her wedding and I hope my sister and my brother-in-law will live as standard fairy tale ending phrase - live happily ever after. Of course, I wish them to have their first baby soon!

I'm now 22 years old going to 23 years old soon. Although many of my friends around me always kept reminding me about the age ( that we're getting old), for me, we're just starting on our young life! To me, 20 sth years old is still considered young though many youngsters've called me "jiejie". I still denied to be labelled "old". 30 years old should be fair enough to tagged myself as 初老. hahaha:DDD

So, this is my last semester of university life, I can only said that " Finally!" And I already applied a job -- teaching! In about 6 months time, I'm going to be an untrained teacher, doing practical on teaching in primary school (exciting and nervous). Gonna enter job market, I'm still lack of confidence in socialising and speaking in my broken English!. I hope that everything goes fine! I'm satisfied with my current status now. As I know, I should not be worried about the coming challenges ahead and just remember the slogan :活在当下 as my survival slogan!

Semester 2 juz begin...

To my surprise, I successfully enter semester 2 for my university life! Reading thru' my previous blogs, i noticed that i was looking forward to my university life before i entered university. However, after entering uni, i felt that how much i hope to end my university life faster!

It was very tough for me to face my university life...Leaving my home sweet home, staying alone in hostel, i really felt lonely sometimes. Luckily, i knew new true frens in my uni.I knew that i was very lucky compared to my other frens as i could always go back to my hometown in Johor. I really felt that i was not a independent person compared to my other frens in uni. Kept going bac home..

NUS life is not a life that i really enjoy, but i will try to enjoy it. :)

After entering NUS to start my journey of university's life, one thing I can said is busyzzzzz..NO TIME, TIME FLIES!! HW,CA,MID TERM,EXAM!! LAB, PRACTICAL,TUTORIAL!! I really felt tired and fed up all the time...:(

是的，分开了并不代表会改变......当我想念，闭上双眼，你们都会在我心里面。

“离别以前，已开始想念；
让期待紧紧连接这一切。

走慢一点，不管有多远；
放不下就代表不会变。 ”

真的，在还没离别之前，一开始了想念....过去的点点滴滴，拥有了，就要紧紧握着。

写这一次的博客，心情特别的沉重。改用华语是因为想把内心的感触形容得更加清楚。终于，离别的时候来临了。还记得念完Form 6时，我们已经感受到了离别的味道，没想到这一次的离别更是长久，应该说真正离别的时候到了。就在大家得到大学通知的那一刻，不必多说，离别就摆在大家眼前！

二00九年六月十九日，大家带着激动及紧张的心情纷纷上网看大学入学通知。看了之后，大家都有了决定，也就是再过不到一个星期，就得分开了。开心，兴奋；伤心，难过涌上心头。开心的是大家要成大学生了，兴奋的是大学生涯要开始了；伤心的是要离别了，难过的是不能再见面了。一瞬间，种种感觉交叉在一起，相信不只是我一个人有这种感觉。

听着这首“永远的画面”，让我觉得是时候说再见了。如果可以让现在停止不走，你会想做些什么呢？不知怎么的，突然想问这个问题。最近，我也经常听到大家在谈论着举办最后一次的聚会，当作是离别前留下的美好回忆。大家真的得各分东西了，有的去kelantan,有的到kl,有的到perak,有的去p.pinang......而我去新加坡，真的好远....

总而言之，希望大家以后还有经常见面的时候，也希望大家享受大学生活。此时此刻，只有祝福才能结束我的文章。记得最幸福的事：“趁鼻酸能掩饰，让我们拥抱最后一次，在左边心口保留大家的位置。”

Finally, i gt all the photos...My redang island trip began...25th May 2009...Excited?

We gathered at Kluang bus station,boarding the bus from kluang to kuala Terengganu.
Everyone was happy and excited , thinking the day after that we would reach our destinatioin--Pulau Redang...

26th May

We reached Kuala Terengganu bus station...very tired.I could not sleep in the "so-so" bus. KT bus station was quite different compared to kluang bus station. Of coz, bigger and more complicated? First,we found somewhere to rest, put down our "luggage". There was one stall opening which sold drinks and bread. We bought our own drinks and waited for the bus from Pelangi Resort to fetch us to Merang jetty. Some of us went to 7-eleven to buy "maggie mee" as breakfast.

When we were waiting at the bus station...

We went to the guest house of Pelangi Resort,which was juz opposite KT bus station.
When we reached the guest house,we noticed there were other groups going to Pulau Redang too. Sigh.I thought only 13 of us! The guest house was prepared for us to put down our heavy things and took a rest.

The bus arrived. Of course, we shared the bus with others, not only 13 of us!
It took not more than 1 hour to reach Merang jetty.Most of us fell asleep in the bus due to exhaustion.

When we reached merang jetty and waited the boat to Redang Island,

Yeah, we reached Pulau Redang! We could see the sandy beach, crystal blue water...Its Pulau Redang!We walked through the sandy beach and went to our resort--Pelangi Resort. We were welcome by the workers of the resort.And one of the female worker(i couldn't remember her name) introduced to us about P.Redang.She also explained to us Dos and Don'ts staying there. We would have 3 snorkelling trips,free breakfast,lunch,tea break and dinner at the resort.Marvelous!!

We gathered at the snorkelling centre and waited for snorkelling trip. The person in charge explained to us how to wear the mask and life jacket.
The first snorkelling trip was to the deep sea. Some who did not how to swim feel scared. There were many boats bringing us to the deep sea.(there were many ppl heading to the deep sea,including 13 of us).
We went snorkelling for about 2 hours, then we went bac to Pulau redang.

Along the beach, we could hear and feel the crowdiness of Pulau redang. We passed by many other resorts like Redang bay,redang holiday,Laguna and redang reef resorts.Every resorts has their own specialities.

It has been 2 weeks !

I had stop working for 2 weeks already! Going redang island to enjoy my holidays,and having meetings and events with friends, hanging out with friends whole day....haiz...Really enjoyable! But, sumtimes i did feel boring staying at home. Moreover, my laptop had broken for weeks, until yesterday only i can borrow another laptop from my sis...haiz! "No laptop" days really difficult to pass!
No dramas to watch, no friends to chat with, no internet to surf...Really boring.
Luckily, i still have friends to be with. Here, i really wan to thanks to my friends because they prepared lots of activities for me so that i wont feel boring staying at home. Playing badminton, singing karaoke, yum cha together,loitering in shopping mall, haha...I cant imagine what to do without u all being witih me...Thanks a lot...
Quite miss the days of working...coz staying at home doing nothing is a waste of time! But, i tell myself to fully enjoy the holidays...

I really hope to post a blog on my Redang Island trip, but i dun hav those photos with me. So, it may take time for me to make it...

Lastly, to all,enjoy time being with friends...Its time to separate!

Taking photos with my class....i really had bad feelings while taking pic with them! i should be very happy that i can fully enjoy my time after quiting the job.However, i still feel blue and down,i know that i may not see those adorable and funny faces when i leave them...i will miss them...Thanks for their love for me, i felt happy and touched when i heard they said will always remember me in their bottom of their heart...I will always remember these precious memories...they are my kids in 2009.

Another 10 days I will become free…..NO need to work! No need to feel angry and irritating while handling students!
But still have bad feelings like feeling quite blue leaving my class….In fact, they are really cute and adorable! However, they will be many endings in our lives. So, I will make this to be a happy ending. This will definitely be my special memories in my life!
And I really have to say that I again learnt a lot in my working days. I’m sure that this will be my experience to face another difficult tasks and challenges in my future.
And, I was very happy that I really can withstand many difficulties during my working days. FINALLY, I can reach what I target for that is to work till end of May.
What I persist in will let me gain more advantages!
Ya, determination and patience are really important qualities for everyone. As the saying goes, “no pain no gain”.
After 10 days, I will get rid of work and enjoy my trip to Redang Island. Really looking forward for the trip….

Time to make decision

It's the time to make my decision already. I had received letter stating i had been offered subject Science in NUS in Singapore. I was glad and excited when i received this news.

And i was confused while making decision whether to accept this offer or not. Somemore i had to meke decision whether going to NUS or MOE!!

AND I looked for many people's opinions. Of course, some of them said that entering NUS better and others said that MOE better! HAIH! CONFUSED!!

At first, i really thought to give up admission in NUS, straightaway choose MOE. Since MOE can solve all my economic problems,MOE can provide me salary too. It is really attractive!

AH! What should i do? AM i going to NUS or MOE?

NUS is my final decision. WHY?

When i refered to my aunt's opinion,i agreed with her sayings. University's life is great! IF i am going to enter NIE for the training to be teacher, i may miss the opportunity to enjoy my university's life! AND studying in NIE, i will only have one road to be chosen in my future, that's the teacher!

However, if i enter NUS, i may encounter different opportunities then. If i wanna be a teacher, i can still apply when i graduate from NUS.

Ya, that's it! I made already my decision! U?

Going to our future...

After STPM exam, my life again changed. While waiting the result, i worked in an afterschool childcare centre as a mentor to give tuition to the students from standard 1 to 6. And i was mainly in-charge of student standard 1. During 10th March, i gt my STPM result. Luckily, my result was better than what i had predicted.

AND my life started to become very busy-- applying local u, applying singapore u, and applying teaching position in singapore.

Everything went smoothly!

To my surprise, i was shortlisted to go for the interview for teaching position in Ministry of Education in Singapore. I was so excited as i was so lucky to be shortlisted. I was very nervous and kept practising my speech to be spoken during the interview. I was so happy there were friends and family kept supporting me and giving me the confidence.

I had told myself i won't give up even though i had failed in the interview.

The day of the interview came soon, i was prepared to face all the obstacles in front of me and i had told myself to be strong enough to withstand all the difficulties waiting for me.

All my preparation was to encounter 10 minutes' interview.

I felt relieved after finishing the interview. But i didn't put in too much of hopes to get the chance to enter NIE to have training of being a teacher in Singapore. Since i knew that it was not easy to enter NIE and i had to compete with others to enter NIE.

After the interview, i had to rush back to take the exams for my application in local u. After all the exams, i felt like putting down a big rock in my heart.

Now, i was still waiting the outcome of all the universities as well as the outcome of the interview.

Hope that God will guide me to my bright future...

Time flies, i had already passed 3 days of my STPM exam.
Being hesitated, i wondered i still have d mood and time to post my blog during exam.
Juz wan to find a place to voice out my inner feelings, iritating,stressed,sad and feeling blue with my exam. Everytime, i ask myself dun giv up,try my best!
However, i really felt like i was locked in myself, i cant get rid of myself.
After taking papers for ady 3 days, many asked, " how's ur exam?"
I was stunned. Nothing to say. thinking for seconds, " Bad".Only one word can express my feelings.
In fact, i cannot blame that the high standard of exam papers.
Deep in my mind, i knew wat i work for and did i really work for it ?
How much of efforts i had put in? Is it 100%? I dare not to say.
So, i was juz feeling like i was lost. I lost my way to find d key of success!
There are another 4 papers waiting for me. Right, calm down myself, work for it as the key to success. I hope that i wont lost again before the papaers are finished.

好久没写华语啦！现在来练一练，呵呵！哎，觉得华语变得越来越差了，常常说不出指定的字，真是糟糕！毕竟上了form 6 之后，好久没有接触华语了，所以说的都是些烂华语，一点都不像是学过华语的人，我有的朋友呀，从小读英校，华语竟说得比我溜，可悲呀我真实...
今天，听了妈妈说了一句：“华人真聪明，竟能创造出华语字来，而且字字都有意思。”我听了也深感认同。就比如“忍”字，刀锋在上，心在下，表示内心有把刀，很难受，心如刀割。真得很有意思！
这让我更想去探讨每一个文字的来源及奥妙，因为想了解古人是如何把华语字或汉字创造出来...
所以，还蛮觉得古人真得很有智慧！

Long time dint bother this blog....haiz, i almost forgot tat i was having a blog here, hehe! B'cos of the exam is coming soon, so i was busy preparing my exam. thus, i do not have enough time to do other things. Now, i am very scared that exam is really coming soon. It is only left for 89 days tat i hav to face the my final exam--STPM. I am very looking forward to do my best in dis exam cos it really relates to my future. Whether i can enter the local U? Happy Schooling....?!

Haih, after 2 weeks of happy hours, as a student, i had to bac to the world of studies...bac to school!
Time flies, when it came to the day of schooling, i was very lazy to wake up early in the morning. At the moment, i hoped i can skip the classes or juz forget about schooling.
Now is already the third-day after a long break and i had started schooling for already 3 days... Feel like, erm...boring...
I feel scared also as after school had reopened, the 1st thing to face is to receive our examination results...woo, now i already got almost all of the paper and i was quite sastified with them.
I received a bad news that my chemistry teacher had run thru an operation to remove all the reproductive organs and it may due to inefficiency of those organs. But, God bless that she ran thru the operation smoothly.
However, she may on leave for about another 4 weeks. So, may she recover soon and come bac to teach us in the pink of health....
Lastly,
Should i say " happy schooling" ?

the world of fairy tale....

I went Jb Jusco with my friends and shopped for a whole day....
Wat make me really unforgettable was the "wonderland" i went to at Jusco.
I was so happy and surprised tat i was as if in the world of the fairy tale.
I took many photos with the cute characters which will only appear in the world of cartoon and fairy tale! I felt like went into wonderland.
In fact, it was a game centre, there were many different games inside...
there were lots of kids inside. Seeing them playng the games, their smiling faces make my heart warm. I could see many parents accompanying their children to play the games, really felt like they were very happy and sense of euphoria made me think of my own happy family!
Happiness is really instrumental to all of us in thw world. It is the best gift for us to have happiness rather than other materialistic properties.
I really hope that all the people in the world can live in happiness, no wars and live harmoniously....

I am so happy to go ktv with my friends... Hope that there will be more chances to sing songs together! Really feel enjoy! This is one of the meaningful activities i did during the short semester break! We sang our happiness, sadness together! haha, really excited! I love to sing to relax my mind...unwind my mind...This is one way to relieve and relax after struggling with examinations! I wish we can always relax together.....sing together of coz havng teatime always...The one holding the mic is my close fren, Lee Ming....Hehe, she is still available and quite an adorable girl!Of coz the one in the middle is me...which is the main character in the pic, haha as i was sitting middle wat? It was really enjoyable activity for me....
